Buyer Beware! I could fill a book on the details of this exchange but there’s not enough room here. Just know You’ve been Warned!
The relationship started out great the made contact timely and made me a great website but that’s it after that your basically paying them 300 or more for them just to run your ad. I told them after the website was created I probably won’t continue services because all I really wanted was a website and couldn’t afford money like that every month. They promised the website belongs to me and they could not take it. After trying to run my card for two months and no contact whatsoever they billed me for two months and were just going to keep my website up and keep charging. Finally after telling them several times I needed to cancel they kept my website and I called them to release my website to me via email and I haven’t heard from them since. I wait on hold and they don’t pick up. They could have called to ask me if I wanted to discontinue my services and there first clue would have been when my card did not go through For two months HELLO…they made so much diligence with contacting me in the beginning so why not immediately when they could not run my card well that’s because they forgot about me and just wanted to keep charging me.
If I could give zero stars I would. Was always top 3 in the map pack on Google until I hired Townsquare. My specialist Marissa Langley got my Google my business account suspended within a 2 weeks of hiring them. Literally went from doing 20k a month in sales before them to the phone not ringing at all. Gave them months to fix it but the damage had been done. I now rank number 16 in the map pack. They did the exact opposite of what they were hired to do. I would have to email her 5 or 6 times to get simple things accomplished. Would take weeks to even get a response from her. They promised the world and failed to deliver on anything. Please take my advice and stay far away from them. The sales rep lied to me and told me they handled a local company who ranks really well, after firing them I contacted the local company. They had used them 5 years prior for a couple months and had fired them for not doing what they said they would. The sales rep ,James, said they were still handling their account which was a straight lie to get me to sign up with them. I honestly think they should refund me every penny.

Townsquare interactive has the perfect name. I have been dealing with Maria for a large portion of my time with them. She is excellent. Always engaging, consistently providing feedback of ways to improve my web site and drive traffic. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of hours for responses. The team at townsquare is extremely professional and I would recommend them and Maria to any one who is looking to improve their website.
My company has been a TSI client since 2017. We were very happy with the support TSI provided until about a year ago, when our last dedicated account manager left TSI. Working with them since hasn’t been the same. They fail to return calls/voicemail. They make promises they don’t keep. Now we can’t seem to get anybody on the phone, etc. Guess we’ll take our business elsewhere.
I have been with Townsquare for about 3 years now and do not plan on leaving anytime soon. When I first got to Townsquare I had a very unpleasant experience with my account manager who had put in the wrong email for me to get business. I had received little leads and was not very happy. I received a new account manager named Meghan McMichael. From when Meghan took over there was nothing but positive things that happened. She revamped the look of my whole website and gave it her taste. She answers me the day off and has the changes I need the day of as well. I branched off and started a new company and told Meghan I will no longer be using Townsquare as i wanted to try and do things on my own such as website design, SEO, and etc. After having trouble I decided to go back to Townsquare and have them do my new company as well. The reason I am back is because of Meghan and how Townsquare has treated me. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
